Local Plan

Thank you for your interest in the 

Telford and Wrekin Local Plan review.

The next stage of the Local Plan review, the publication version (Regulation 19), will be presented to the Council's Cabinet on 13 February and Full Council on 27 February for approval.

If approved, the Local Plan will then be published to allow the public and stakeholders to make final comments as regards matters of soundness and legal compliance before the plan and any comments made are submitted to the Governments Planning Inspectorate for examination.  

• The plan and accompanying evidence base will be published to allow members of the public and stakeholders to make final comments between the 17 March and 5 May 2025, subject to the approval of Full Council.
